The accelerated pace of change characterizing the 21st century is affecting the way in which firms constitute themselves. As the changeable and uncertain environment and the speed of innovation characterizing the market, the new firms tend to constitute themselves as university spinoffs and startups.
Given the unconventional nature of these new businesses it is important to detect their riskiest components, which can affect their survival in the market. In this perspective, the thesis analyses business models, marketing and communication strategies and team dynamics, both theoretically and empirically. |
