Abstract:
This master thesis aims to be a proposal for a digital edition of the Quaterrätsel strophes of the Middle High German poem Wartburgkrieg. Many editions have been dedicated to this literary complex, but a digital edition as side-product has not been designed yet, even though it would be meaningful. The Quaterrätsel is indeed for its characteristics suited to be represented in an electronical form, in which the user can bop around, fade up and arrange differently the text at his will. The processes of building a digital edition is described here from the very first moment: from the palaeographical encryption in the mark-up language XML to the notes to the edition text. The advantages of a digital edition are thus analysed.
