dc.description.abstract Tianjin Accident (August 12, 2015) has been a dramatic event for China. It is important to analyse what have been the deep causes behind the explosion, with reference to the Chinese Legal System. The first section of this dissertation presents in detail how Chinese Law regulates Port and connected matters, with attention to Port and Maritime Law and related enforcing bodies. In the second and third sections, the accident is analysed to provide a precise framework of the event. The fourth section presents an overview on Chinese Chemical Safety Legislation and connected regulations, and the final section analyse the question of insurance following the guidelines for insurance contracts provided by Chinese Legislation. it_IT
