Abstract:
ABSTRACT
My work is dedicated to the works of contemporary Olzhas Suleimenov, who is a famous Kazakh poet, linguist, Turkish-Slavist, politician and diplomat.
In the first chapter, "The phenomenon of O. Suleimenov" will present his biography, poetic, social and political activities. Suleimenov was the initiator and leader of the popular movement "Nevada - Semipalatinsk" (1989), the purpose of which was the closure of the Semipalatinsk nuclear test site and other nuclear sites in the world.
The second chapter presents his work as a writer on the Russian-speaking Kazakh Turkic-Slavic (cultural ideas about world unity, looks at the history and literature of antiquity in the historical and linguistic works and language concepts). He is the author of studies on the origin of the ancient Turkic languages and scripts.
The basic idea - the brotherhood of cultures and the spiritual enrichment of the peoples. He believes that the interpretation of literature, language and legends help to take another look at the history of mankind, which is united, but that "arbitrary separation and isolation brought confusion." Olzhas recognized as the first bilingual reader "Slova o polku Igoreve" Because of its origin it was at the crossroads of cultures and traditions. His linguistic opinion that Russian culture since ancient times interacted with the Eastern, in particular with the Turkic steppe cultures received the most finished expression in the now famous "book Az i Ya".(1975) However, many Soviet Russian scientists-historians, philologists and public figures were subjected to sharp criticism of the author. The book was called "anti-Russian", "subversion", accusing the author of nationalism and Pan-Turkism began ideological persecution, the book was banned. It was believed that Olzhas fought with Russian patriotism with patriotic position of Turkish authorities did not accept the basic idea that the Russian culture since ancient times interacted with the Eastern, in particular with the Turkic steppe cultures. Only in 2005, the book was first published in Russian.
Subsequently Olzhas ideas embodied in his book "One thousand and one word." It is written as a universal etymological dictionary, in which he explains the origin of proto-Turkic languages, the proto-Turkic culture and Turkic proto-history.
Known also brought him his research "Language letter" about the origin of writing and small human language.
Our contemporary Olzhas Suleimenov - a man of peace. During the 7 years (1995-2002) he was the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to Italy (Rome) and part-time in Greece and Malta, and is currently the Permanent Representative of Kazakhstan to UNESCO.
The contradictory conditions of today's world, when the increased flow of migration, and there was a problem of mixed cultures, all of us it is important to know more and explore his ideas about the world unity and that common efforts should be aimed at the realization that "our ancestors were not always at odds ".
